Anne started her business in 2002 as she was soon to be an empty nester and named it North Star Design due to the fact that she was following her heart, her own North Star, in this venture.

She has a passion for art and was able to see the beauty in the shape and color of a wine bottle. It made sense to her to create a card to accompany the bottle with those same qualities. As economic times grew poor, she added designs with fun wine sentiments on them in the hopes of bringing a smile to the giver and the receiver. She is also really good at Photo Shop and editing pictures together which I am forever grateful for as I have no talent in that area.
