Cool Weather in the Foothills PDF Print E-mail

Thanksgiving is only days away, and I'm already thinking about which wine to pair with the Thanksgiving dinner. The choices are tougher than ever. We'll be having turkey and ham, along with a pretty decent variety of side dishes. And with the selection of wines available from our 30+ wineries, I'm pretty confused.

What that really means though, is that I'm likely to have a great time not only making the choices, but enjoying them with dinner.

This newsletter is packed with great information for you. If you haven't met Chef Thua and watched him prep our pairings, check out the Yadkin Wines and Kitchen Magic series. You'll get some great ideas for cooking and matching up our local wines. We are also (slowly) working through interviews with the wineries. As Jennifer talks with the vineyards, she's delivering an ongoing series of vignettes that let you know more about what to expect as you visit them. And our gadget diva, Elizabeth, always has some kind of wine-related accessory for your consideration.

Please remember to pass this email along to your wine-loving friends. You'll notice that we've added an RSS subscription link for those people who would rather stay updated via RSS feed than by our newsletters.

Thanks for your time, and please let me know what you would like to see covered in future issues.
