The last few, and the next several weeks are loaded with more wine related events in the Yadkin Valley area than any one person could possibly atttend. That's a great thing, and one of the great attractions of this area. Where else could a wine enthusiast spend an entire weekend visiting major events and tasting wines, all within about one hour's drive?
This week, we'll be attending the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival. I'll be looking for folks enjoying themselves (probably easy to spot), and taking video interviews with them, as I did with the Shine to Wine in North Wilkesboro a couple weekends ago. I'm looking forward to seeing you and visiting with the wineries in attendance.

The festival is in Elkin, and if you don't have directions, click here to get google maps to plot the path for you.

I'll be handing out cards for free subscriptions to the Wines of Yadkin Valley newsletter (well, they're always free), so when you find me, tell me which wines you've discovered, or which you like best, and pick up a subscription card that you can pass along to someone else once you've used it yourself... or just click here to sign up.

See you this weekend in Elkin.
